Vaidyaratnam Dhanwantharam Thailam 

Directions for use:

  • Take the required amount of Kerala Ayurveda dhanwantharam thailam in a bowl
  • Place this bowl in warm water until it becomes slightly warm
  • Sit comfortably on a non-slippery surface and check if the oil is warm enough by putting a drop on your inner wrist. Gently apply all over your body
  • Pregnant and new mothers should focus on abdominal massage to strengthen and tone the uterus
  • Massage your abdomen in large, clockwise circles with very gentle pressure
  • Next, make small clockwise circles around your belly button
  • Let the oil sit for about half an hour, and then take a relaxing bath using warm water to wash away the oiliness
  • Pregnant women can start using dhanwantharam thailam beginning the 7th month of pregnancy
  • For postnatal massage, can be used on the seventh day of childbirth.
